  Facility (Immediate Needs)

  • Wheelchair and mounting ramp
  • ~8000' of Fiberglass concrete for wash bays and wheelchair accessibility porches
  • Plumbing & septic for wash bays/vet stall, run line to loafing shed in pasture and wheelchair accessible bath room
  • Electrical for both barns to accommodate air conditioners, water heaters, and lighting
  • Close in, a/c and seal 40' x 40' loft barn for offices and client area.

Program

  • Sponsor a Therapy Horse. We have 9.
  • (Average is $1,700 each annually)

  • At Risk (“It's Your Choice”) Communication program
  • Literacy program for autistic and speech delayed children.
  • Behavioral intervention & development
  • Youth in Philanthropy (YIP) engages all students in a community to adopt, giving of themselves and working as a team, to be a part of their lives
  • Driving Programs for clients who physically/medically can not mount a horse and for those who would like to compete in driving
  • Hippotherapy conducted by an Occupational Therapist using the horse as a therapy tool to improve their quality of life.
  • Ropes Adventure Therapy Course (RAT) is an outdoor series of challenging elements, for adults and children, that are used to develop skills and overcome fears, building self esteem, goal setting, teamwork, and it is just plain fun. This course will be wheelchair accessible.
