Making a Donation to Morning Glory Ranch
Morning Glory Ranch is a Therapeutic Equine Ranch with programs designed to help disabled and autistic children and adults increase their verbal, social and life skills. We offer various programs depending on the needs of the individual. I ask you to take a moment to think about what Morning Glory Ranch could mean to you or someone you care about and consider doing one simple thing that can support the continued courage exhibited by our riders.
Sponsor a Child
Morning Glory Ranch attempts to keep our cost as low as possible for our parents who are already burdened with high medical and Rx expenses for their special children. In our efforts, we have to find donations to cover approximately $200 per lesson for each child for our much needed special therapy program. That is only $2800 a semester. Our therapy riding programs are 14 weeks per semester with each child riding 1 time per week. If you could sponsor a child or a portion of a special child's therapy, Morning Glory Ranch and the parents would greatly appreciate it.
Sponsor a Therapy Animal
Morning Glory Ranch volunteers do their best work on horseback. Without these animals we could not offer this special therapy to our children. They are life changing animals and are the core of our programs. To keep our animals in the perfect condition for our children to succeed, it costs approximately $1500 per year to maintain their health. Our special equestrians love their horses and build their lives around them. We provide two competitions a year, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's Top Hands Horse Show in February and The Equestrian Special Olympics in April. It cost us to travel and show off our talent and gives our clients a sense of accomplishments and pride. Click here to choose a horse to sponsor.
Sponsor a Program
Morning Glory Ranch has several programs to assist the children in our community. All of our programs are equipped with an educational component. We work closely with the schools and families to maximize learning in every lesson. This is what makes our programs unique. We offer an Autism riding program, Youth in Philanthropy, At Risk Youth, our special events and competitions. These programs require specialized staff, volunteers, supplies and training. Each program requires approximately $3000 a year in training and development. We would love for you to support our people and programs so that we may continue to bring the highest quality education to our organization.
Sponsor the Equipment
This equipment makes it possible for us to maintain and 
keep the facility safe. We currently have arena panels, Kubota 50H tractor with all implements, RTV and a mower that need sponsoring. We also have 4 trailers, 2 horse and 2 low boys, that need sponsoring. Your name and/or business name would be put on the equipment sponsored. Your sponsorship would help pay the loans and maintenance on this much needed equipment.
Sponsor the Facility
Our facility is in great need of updating and additions. We currently are trying to close in and completely remodel our small loft barn to accommodate our volunteers and staff offices. This barn will also be complete with a wheelchair accessible RR, occupational and physical therapy room, storage and a bunk house, to complete our much needed offices.
- We need a 100 x 150 arena cover with lights and sound system.
- We also need porches over our stalls and covered walkway.
- Lastly, we need concrete at our wash bays and hitching posts.
